Big Brother 17 is the seventeenth season of Mateo's Big Brother Series.

The theme for the season will be "Circus themed".

Twists

• The Circus Wheel: After the first live eviction, the evicted player will spin the wheel choosing a twist to come into play for the week for the rest of the house. This twist will be in play for the next 5 weeks.
  • Ring of Fire: The bottom two in the Head of Household competition will participate in a separate challenge that they must pass. If they fail to pass the challenge, the player will not be eligible to play in the Power of Veto or vote at eviction.
  • King of the Jungle: In a special competition, everyone would secretly compete to win the power to "King of the Jungle Trainer" which allows them to choose one of the two nominees (they would not name the renomination) and secretly remove a vote at eviction.
  • On The Ropes: The Head of Household nominates two players for eviction. The remaining players will compete in a competition that will put their games on the rope! The losing player will become the third nominee for the week. If the veto is used on the player, a renomination will not be named.
  • Escapology: The week will play out differently than a regular week. There will be no Head of Household for the week. All players would vote for the two nominees for the week. All players would compete in Power of Veto and the winner would name the replacement nominee.
  • Cloud Swinger: A special competition will be played out for the week which allows one player to win safety for the week by being on the cloud swing.
