Big Brother 5 is the fifth overall season of Mateo's Big Brother Series—inspired by the series Big Brother.

Background

Hiatus

After Big Brother 4, the series was put into pause. It was taking a back seat to the Survivor series. However, it was later revived and coming back for it's fifth season.

Theme

This season will have the theme of the Past vs the Present vs the Future. All twists will be related to this theme throughout the season. The house design will be based on 1960's hippie era, 2018 modern age social media, and futuristic theme.

Twists

• The Past Players: Two players from past seasons will return. They will return to the present time by joining the game after the first week of the game. This will play into the Past theme.
• The Time Machine: America will vote one houseguest into the Time Machine based on first impressions. America will be voting before the season has begun. Therefore, after the first eviction the winner will enter the Time Machine in which they receive safety for the next 4 evictions.
• Triple Eviction: For the first time ever, three people will be evicted in the same night. This will play into the Present theme.
